AIPS Sport Media Awards 2020

BUDAPEST, February 3, 2020. The Corinthia Hotel has hosted the AIPS Sport Media Awards with the best sports journalists from around the world.
3rd place in the portfolio category was taken by Sergey Kivrin.
Sergey Kivrin (Azerbaijan Airlines magazine) presented five stunning photos of the Nomad Games in Azerbaijan, a traditional competition with horses, arrows, stones and fire.

#Baikal-Amur Railway 45

2019 is a jubilee year for the most famous and large-scale construction site of the USSR, one of the few that has continued its development today. This year marks 45 years since the start of the construction of the Baikal-Amur Railway.

The BAM-45 years multimedia project is dedicated to this event, including a photo exhibition with a catalog, a photo album, a documentary film and a special Internet resource, bam45.rf.


"Winter of our achievements": I International Sports Winter Games "Children of Asia"

We continued our cooperation with the International Committee of the Children of Asia Games.

Photographers took part in the coverage of the First International Winter Sports Games in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, which was held from February 8 to 17, 2019.Andrey Golovanov visited this capital of the region Yuno-Sakhalinsk several times: to inspect sports facilities and prepare image photography for the presentation of games. He also held a master class for photographers of Sakhalin, created a group that worked at sporting events, and, following the results, released the album “Winter of our achievements”.

Photoforum 2019

From April 11 to April 13, Photoforum 2019 was held in Moscow, in which Canon KHL partner and two brand ambassadors of the company, legends of sports photography, KHL photo contest jury members Sergey Kivrin and Andrei Golovanov held a master class on sports photography using hockey as an example.

The program “Young Reporter” at the Universiade 2019

FISU and the Directorate of the XXIX World Winter Universiade in 2019 in Krasnoyarsk conducted the first in the history of the Winter Universiade educational program "Young Reporter» (U-Media).

Mentor of foreign young reporters was a sports journalist, chief editor of the Match TV website, Evgeny Dzichkovsky, who participated in coverage of seven Olympiads, photographer Andrei Golovanov, who worked as a press photographer at the 13th Olympic Games and Michel Belanger, an independent communications specialist from Canada, who has experience in Sports Association U Sports Canada.

Master class KHL and CANON

The KHL project and Canon started last season. Canon ambassadors Andrey Golovanov and Sergey Kivrin visited Vladivostok, Novosibirsk and Sochi, where meetings with them invariably enjoyed great popularity among photographers. This season, the cooperation of KHL and Canon continued and will last until the end of April 2019. This year, Canon has changed the meeting format from one day to two days. In the first - a theoretical lesson, on the second day - a discussion of the works of the participants in the master class. This year master classes are scheduled in Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Ufa, Khabarovsk and Kazan.
