The annual national award ceremony "Russian Cup" was held in Kazan.
At the end of each season, the Russian Tennis Federation holds the national award ceremony "Russian Cup", where it recognizes athletes, coaches, managers, sponsors in various nominations - all those who are connected with the world of tennis. All those whose efforts develop and make Russian tennis proud. This year's ceremony was an anniversary one - the national award "Russian Cup" is 30 years old.

Sergey Kivrin comes from a dynasty of photographers. He worked at many world championships and Olympics. Our tennis players have also appeared in his frame, their historical moments of victories, frozen forever. Sergey once wanted to shoot the world of wildlife, but became the best sports photographer in Russia.

As part of the XIV All-Russian festival-competition of sports journalism "Energy of Victories", the ROC held traditional educational seminars and master classes from experts in the field of sports journalism for the finalists of the competition.The seminar participants were addressed by Andrey Troshin, PhD in Philosophy, senior lecturer at the Department of Mass Communications and Media Business of the Financial University, Vladimir Gomelsky, TV commentator, writer, senior lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Andrey Golovanov, sports photographer, laureate of Russian and international awards, and Konstantin Vybornov, a well-known TV commentator, press attaché of the Russian delegation at the 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022 Olympic Games.

"Our colleague, our friend Andrei Golovanov celebrated two holidays last November - his 60th birthday and victory in the All-Russian Sports Parnassus competition, becoming the best sports journalist in the country. Our congratulations! Bravo, maestro!
Most of us have recently become photographers. Even a word was born - take a photo. The business to which Andrei devoted most of his life has nothing to do with this craze. Golovanov composes a photograph, arranging the frame according to the canons known to him. Perhaps that is why we are looking at his photographs (a number of them in collaboration with Sergei Kivrin),
like paintings by artists."

On November 30, a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the National Sports Award for 2023 took place at the State Kremlin Palace. The participants and guests of the ceremony were the country's leading athletes, legends of domestic sports, heads of all-Russian sports federations, and famous artists.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent his congratulations to the laureates. It says: “Becoming a laureate of this prestigious award is an honor and the utmost responsibility. After all, young people look up to you, outstanding Russian athletes. And therefore it is important that in the fight for prizes and awards you show not only skill and the will to win, but also extraordinary personal qualities, mutual assistance and team cohesion. By your example, you inspire others to conquer new heights. And, of course, according to established tradition, among the award winners are legendary coaches, mentors, entire organizations and even regions.”

The opening of the exhibition “Samara View - Russia” took place in the “New Space” gallery of SUNB and the names of the winners of the photography competition “Samara View - Russia” were announced. In the “Sport” Nomination 1st place – Andrey Ivanovich Golovanov (Moscow) for the photo “Beach Football”.

The festival-competition of sports journalism "Energy of Victories" was held, organized by the Russian Olympic Committee and the Federation of Sports Journalists of Russia with the support of PJSC Gazprom, within which master classes were held for the contestants. Three-time Olympic champion in synchronized swimming Alla Shishkina, one of the leading sports photographers Andrey Golovanov, Russian TV commentator, member of the Presidium of the Russian Association of Sports Commentators Vladimir Gomelsky, as well as theater and film actor Maxim Konovalov addressed the audience.

 The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Russian Olympic Committee Stanislav Pozdnyakov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, Honorary President of the ROC Alexander Zhukov, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin, three-time Olympic ice hockey champion Vladislav Tretyak, two-time Olympic champion in fencing Sofya Velikaya, multiple winners of the Games in synchronized swimming Svetlana Romashina, Vlada Chigireva and Alexandra Patskevich, Olympic champion in speed skating Svetlana Zhurova.
