National Sports Award 2023

On November 30, a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the National Sports Award for 2023 took place at the State Kremlin Palace. The participants and guests of the ceremony were the country's leading athletes, legends of domestic sports, heads of all-Russian sports federations, and famous artists.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent his congratulations to the laureates. It says: “Becoming a laureate of this prestigious award is an honor and the utmost responsibility. After all, young people look up to you, outstanding Russian athletes. And therefore it is important that in the fight for prizes and awards you show not only skill and the will to win, but also extraordinary personal qualities, mutual assistance and team cohesion. By your example, you inspire others to conquer new heights. And, of course, according to established tradition, among the award winners are legendary coaches, mentors, entire organizations and even regions.”

Based on the results of the work of the competition commissions of all-Russian competitions in the field of physical culture and sports and the Expert Council, winners were announced in 18 categories in 11 nominations. The laureates will receive a prize of 1 million rubles. An award was also presented in the special category “Ambassador of Peace”.

Andrey Golovanov is a sports photographer. He worked at many Olympic Games, World and European Championships. His photographs were published in the application book and publications dedicated to the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He regularly conducts master classes for photographers throughout the country.

Category "Best Sports Printed and Media Products"

Sports editorial office of the Russian Information Agency TASS. The editors cover all the key events in the world of sports - both international and all-Russian competitions, as well as forums, conferences and other sporting events.
