Festival-competition of sports journalism "Energy of Victories" 2022

The festival-competition of sports journalism "Energy of Victories" was held, organized by the Russian Olympic Committee and the Federation of Sports Journalists of Russia with the support of PJSC Gazprom, within which master classes were held for the contestants. Three-time Olympic champion in synchronized swimming Alla Shishkina, one of the leading sports photographers Andrey Golovanov, Russian TV commentator, member of the Presidium of the Russian Association of Sports Commentators Vladimir Gomelsky, as well as theater and film actor Maxim Konovalov addressed the audience.

The theme of Andrey Golovanov's master class was "Portrait of the Russian team", using the photographs of the magazine of the Russian Olympic Committee "Team of Russia", created as part of three Olympics: in Pyeongchang, Beijing and Tokyo. In total, the photographer was at 15 winter and summer Olympic Games.

“No matter how people in my profession are criticized, I am sure that good sports photography creates the right mood for the perception of text, video, any publication. If in the process of shooting you manage to express your attitude towards the hero with the help of a photo, this will benefit the general material, ”Andrey told the audience.

The master classes were followed by a solemn ceremony honoring the winners and laureates of the XII All-Russian festival-competition of sports journalism "Energy of Victories". The winners in the nomination "Igor Utkin Award for the best photo essay / photo work" among the federal media are:

1st place - Sitdikov Ramil, MIA "Russia Today", Moscow;

II place - Sergey Bobylev, TASS, Moscow;

III place – Alexander Fedorov, Sport-Express newspaper, Moscow.

In the nomination "Igor Utkin Prize for the best photo essay / photo work" among regional media, the winners were:

I place - Maxim Bogodvid, MIA "Russia Today", Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan;

II place – Sergey Savrasov, Semiluki, Voronezh region;

III place - Alexander Vorobyov, Velikolukskaya Pravda newspaper, Velikie Luki, Pskov region.
